The Promenade Plantée, 4.5 km-long elevated park in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, constructed on an abandoned 19th-century railway viaduct, which connected the Bastille area to the eastern suburbs of Paris.The parkway runs from the Opéra Bastille to the eastern city limits, ending up only a short distance from the Bois de Vincennes.
The arcades beneath the viaduct have been transformed into arts and crafts workshops. This section is called the "Viaduc des Arts".
Bastille:the square straddles 3 arrondissements of Paris, namely the 4th, 11th and 12th. The square and its surrounding areas are normally called simply Bastille. The July Column (Colonne de Juillet) which commemorates the events of the July Revolution (1830) stands at the centre of the square. Other notable features include the Bastille Opera, the Bastille subway station and a section of the Canal Saint Martin. The north-eastern area of Bastille is busy at night due to many cafés, bars, night clubs, and concert halls.
The Bois de Vincennes is a park in the English landscape manner to the east of Paris.I t has an area of 9.947 km², which is almost three times larger than Central Park in New York, and four times larger than Hyde Park in London.

From Gare Montparnasse - Take the metro line 6 direction Nation and stop at Daumesnil Station.
From Gare de l'Est - Take the metro line 5 direction Place d'Italie and take the connection in Bastille for the line 8 direction Creteil Préfecture. Stop at Daumesnil Station.
By Plane:
Air France bus at the Gare de Lyon and then the metro line 1 and take the connection in Reuilly Diderot Station for the line 8 direction Creteil Prefecture.
